The Rockwheel lies between the excavator bucket and the hammer. With soft to hard material, a Rockwheel delivers the best results.

If a bucket can only scratch the material, small excavations in the garden or the excavation of an entire building foundation become a problem. In contrast, Rockwheel milling machine cuts through the material with a productivity 3 - 5 times faster than a hammer. The gravel-sized residue material is easier to handle and more cost-effective to transport than the residue after hammering; it can also be used directly for backfilling, reducing transportation and material purchase costs.

With the low noise and vibration, Rockwheels can be used in noise and vibration sensitive areas, such as near hospitals, historical buildings, or city centres.
